Doris Louise (Keck) Johnson, 93 of Seymour passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at her residence. Born August 8, 1926 in Milan, Indiana she was the daughter of James and Reta (Shook) Keck.
Doris was a faithful member of the Zion Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She was a hard worker and enjoyed cooking, some of her best-known dishes are baked mac & cheese, oyster dressing and her special family cakes. Doris was the matriarch and protector of her family.
Doris is survived by her daughter Rebecca Stamper and her husband David of Seymour; her step son Shawn Johnson and his wife Tracey of Seymour; her brother Earl Keck of Indianapolis; her five grandchildren, Stephen Johnson and his wife Angie, Thomas Murray, Kerri Reynolds and her husband Justin, Jamie Bramlette and Joleen Tragedy; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband of 23 years, Wyatt “Sam” Johnson and second husband of 33 years, Kenneth Johnson; her sons, Mike, Donald and Richard Johnson; sister Mary Ann Clark and her brothers, Philip and Jackie Keck.
Pastor Bradley Alkey will conduct graveside services at 3:00PM Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Riverview Cemetery. Services will be broadcasted live on Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre’s Facebook page.
