Donald Wayne Goodpaster

Donald Wayne Goodpaster Sr, age 59, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Schneck Medical Centre in Seymour, Indiana. He was born January 10, 1962 to Donald T. Goodpaster and Sharon (Hanner) Burgmeier. Donald was a member of Seymour Harvest Church. He loved music, playing the guitar, singing and was active in jail ministry. He loved going to flea markets and collecting antiques. Above all, keeping up with his family was his number one priority.
He is survived by his parents, Donald T. Goodpaster and his wife Jana of Hayden, Indiana and Sharon (Hanner) Burgmeier and her husband Jay of Hayden, Indiana. Three sons, Joshua Lee Embry and his wife Loyata of Muncie, Indiana, Joseph Embry and his wife Milliecent of Columbus, Indiana and Donald Wayne Goodpaster Jr. of Seymour, Indiana. Two Daughters, Nikita Goodpaster and her husband Kaleb Herndon of Seymour, Indiana and Lori Ball and her husband Tony of Metropolis, Illinois. One Brother, Terry Goodpaster and his wife Tammy of North Vernon, Indiana. Two sisters, Becky Terry and her husband Dale of Seymour, Indiana and Tammie Bailey and her husband Issac of Deputy, Indiana.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Melina Embry, Keelan Herndon, Maya Embry, Jerrin Embry, Leonidas Herndon, Joshua Embry and Jackob Embry.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Goodpaster and his son Michael Goodpaster.
